Girls School Maynooth Launch their Music CD

With sun in the sky and music in the air we were delighted to welcome TV 3′s Anna Daly, Ireland AM’s Presenter and 2010 “TV Now Award Winner”, to launch our school CD "GNS Melodies". The CD was produced by the girls of the Presentation Girls School Maynooth as part of a school fundraising initiative developed  by Enterprise Ireland.
The Presentation Girls School Maynooth which has  470 students, recently benefited from an Enterprise Ireland initiative which focuses on the promotion of enterprise and innovation at primary school level sowing the seeds  of business and enterprise and developing skill sets in this area amongst students.
This fantastic CD comprises of 13 tracks sung by pupils from Junior Infants to 6th class in addition to traditional music preformed by the school’s Grúpa Cheoil. Teachers, parents and students alike have been mesmerised and entertained by this wonderful creative endeavour! CDs are available to purchase from the school office and all proceeds go towards school funds. The Girls School Maynooth certainly has TALENT!
