Visitation Group

St. Mary’s Sacristy

A small group of loyal helpers ensures that the sacristy runs smoothly. On a daily basis the Church is opened, heated and the altar is prepared for Mass. The sacred vessels and altar cloths are kept in pristine condition.

St. Marys Church Maintenance Committee

This small committee ensures the repair and maintenance of the Church. Minor jobs including light fitting, door hinges, drain blockages are all dealt with in a quiet unobtrusive way. Electrical complications and resetting of alarms are also looked after.

Mortality Society

Liturgical Resource Committee

The Liturgical Resource Committee is a small group of volunteers who prepare the decoration of the Church for the Advent, Lenten and Easter Seasons. The Jesse Tree, the Christmas Crib and other liturgical additions greatly enhance the Church’s worship at these times.

Ladychapel Church Group

Ladychapel Church, built in 1867 is a Chapel of Ease to St. Mary’s. Its resident Chaplain is the much loved Fr. Paddy Joe, ably assisted by Josie Flanagan and her team of ready helpers.
