Free parking at new M3 rail station for commuters

The 1,200-space park and ride facilility at the interchange with the M3 motorway at Pace, north of Dunboyne, should encourage commuters to use the the new rail link, according to Iarnrod Eireann’s spokesperson, Barry Kenny.

Dunboyne M3 Commuter rail to open in September

Iarnród Éireann has confirmed that the new Dunboyne (M3) to Dublin commuter rail service will commence this September.
Construction is now complete on the 7.5 kilometre double track rail line and driver training has commenced. Minister for Transport Noel Dempsey TD today joined with Iarnród Éireann on one of the first driver training runs.

Woman’s body found in car boot

Gardaí investigating the disappearance of a Co Kildare woman have found a body in the boot of a car in Co Dublin.
Helen Donegan (30) was last seen at her home at St Patrick’s Park, Celbridge almost seven weeks ago.
As part the investigation into her disappearance, gardaí conducted several searches today at a premises near Newcastle.

Innothera to close Celbridge pharma plan
